This is a traditional cottage situated in the beautiful Northumberland National Park.
Kirknewton is a peaceful village approximately 6 miles West of Wooler and 6 miles south of the Scottish Border.
Historically, it was the centre of the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of Northumbria and the site of the Ad Gefrin Royal Palace
is marked nearby. The present Church is St Gregory the Great in which lies a sculpture of
the Adoration of the Magi in which the Magi appear to be wearing Kilts!
